2nd Biennial
FORUM on INTERVENTIONAL
RADIOLOGY in VASCULAR ANOMALIES
The Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Vancouver, BC
SEPTEMBER 28-30, 2017
FIRVA 2017
Vancouver September 28th to 30th, 2017 was the opportunity to participate in a state-of-the art forum devoted exclusively to addressing the practical needs of the interventional radiologist in the diagnosis and percutaneous management of vascular malformations/anomalies led by some of the field’s leading experts.
Our comprehensive and interactive program included:
- An introductory primer on the ISSVA classification of vascular anomalies, imaging diagnosis, and the role of the interventional radiologist in multidisciplinary management
- Case-based “How I Do It” sessions on percutaneous management of all the most common vascular anomalies
- Debate/consensus-building sessions between faculty on controversial or cutting-edge topics in many areas of vascular anomaly therapy
- Case-based tutorials and complication rounds, with case-materials supplied not only from our faculty, but submitted from our attendees as well!
Whether you’re a seasoned vascular anomaly interventionalist looking to learn and share the latest tips or tricks among colleagues, or you’re an interventional radiologist (or nurse or technologist) considering starting a vascular malformation service and want a better understanding of basic principles and interventional radiologic techniques, this forum is for you.
Along with my co-chair Dr. Richard Owen, we hope to see you in Vancouver!
Sincerely,
Gerald M Legiehn, MD, FRCPC
Accreditation:
